I hope all of you readers had a wonderful 2012 and wish you a Happy New Year!

2012 had some ups and downs for me personally and professionally but I read some AMAZING books. It was nearly impossible to pick my twelve favorites (like picking a favorite child or, in my case, cat). So lets have a look at the stats!

Best stand-alone comic: Drama by Raina Telgemeier (Special mention: Year of the Beasts by Cecil Castellucci)

First book of the year: Ganymede by Cherie Priest

Last book of the year: Jhereg by Steven Brust (technically finished on January 1st 2013, but I’m counting it.)
